I attended the Worcestershire County Boundary Classic Car Tour at the weekend and got the chance to judge my favourite car.
The annual charity event organised by constituent, Mark O'Neill started from the Gigmill pub in Norton on Saturday and was the largest so far. It raised £1150.00 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust.
Nearly 50 classic cars took part in the day. Mark led a prize giving for categories like best costume to suit the car and a public vote on the best car. Then I announced my favourite car, a late light blue 1960s Alfa Romeo Guilietta owned by Jeremy Humphries.
The tour itself is a 165-mile drive around the Worcestershire County boundary, specifically around the country roads with several stops along the way.
Many thanks to Mark and all who came along with their brilliant cars all in aid of a great cause.
It was tough deciding on my favourite car from so many lovingly looked after ones but I was happy with my choice.
This event is fast becoming a big fixture in the local calendar as it goes from strength to strength. I am a big fan and supporter. Mark has done a great job developing it.
