Landmark Kickstart Scheme welcomed by Stourbridge MP

Suzanne Webb MP has welcomed the opening of a new scheme that will create thousands of jobs for young people across the country. Young people on Universal Credit aged 16-24 will be offered six-month work places – with wages paid by the Government.

Last week the House of Commons rose for summer recess and so I thought I would take the opportunity to reflect on my last eight months as your MP.

Become the Commonwealth Games ‘Mascot Maker’

Suzanne Webb, Member of Parliament for Stourbridge, has invited the children of Stourbridge to enter the 2022 Commonwealth Games ‘Mascot Maker’ competition to design the official mascot for the Games, and win Opening Ceremony tickets.

As easing of Lockdown continues, I thought it was important to share some of the current UK COVID-19 statistics.  From just 2,000 tests per day in March we now have the capacity to conduct over 300,000 tests per day – with 311,113 tests available on 6th July 2020.
