What a community 
You came in your carloads. This was OSH this morning, where many residents were displaced, and an entire care home was located.
Huge praise to OSH, to Paul and his wife Emma; they were outstanding, as were his staff and Dudley Council. They also ferried water to the emergency workers.
Praise also to The Mary Stevens Hospice who came along to show support and help.
The community is beyond words at a time when residents' lives were turned upside down and will be for some days,
Roads remain closed and residents in many areas are unable to return home.
I have spoken many times today to the media and asked that they don't turn their backs on us, as this won't heal for some time and we need support. xxxx
