I am loving all the stuff I do with the Royal British Legion.
I joined the veterans at Parkfield Grange Care Home for the regular veterans' coffee morning. Then I would like to express my gratitude to the Old Edwardians Club for hosting the RBL VE/VJ event last Saturday, which I was invited to.
The legend Joe was there. At 100, he looks younger every time I see him. Getting to know more of our local veterans over the last few weeks has been an absolute honour.
My first venture out as the Poppy Appeal Organiser will be on the 6th of July at the Stourbridge Carnival, where there will be an RBL stand—more details to follow!
It is all about being local for me and supporting our veterans who deserve our unquestionable support for all they have done for us.
