It is the end of Knife Crime Awareness Week, but raising awareness is an all-year-round event for me.
Despite not being an MP, I have continued to support tackling knife crime. It was too important to me and is a labour of love.
Getting to know families personally who have been on the receiving end of knife crime drives my passion to tackle the heinous crime.
As part of this, it was great to catch up with Mark Brindley at the James Brindley Foundation offices and catch up on their current projects and community initiatives, and learn how we can bring their tailored workshops, assemblies, and accredited Full Circle Programme into schools across Stourbridge
I have been working with Mark for some time. I am a big fan of their Full Circle Programme, alongside teaming up with Team Pumpkin Boxing and the Justice For Ryan Campaign to bring meaningful change to tackling knife crime in the community and bringing that awareness into schools.
More on this to follow! Watch this space!
