I was grilled by pupils at Dudley Wood Primary School when she took part in a Q&A session during afternoon assembly.
I met with Headmaster Jon Beecham who introduced me to the students from years 3-6 for the event on Friday.
I explained the history of parliament and what happens during the week, debates in the chamber and the role of government in legislation that makes a difference to our lives, such as this week a vote on the 2% reduction in National Insurance.
I also explained the importance of representing the interests of Stourbridge and visiting schools, talking to businesses, and attracting investment for the regeneration of the constituency.
I took questions on a range of topics including whether I had met the King and the late Queen, had I been on telly and whether my job was hard.
Thank you so much to Dudley Wood for inviting me to see the school and meet up with the brilliant pupils who asked some good questions about what I do.
One question was whether I had a pet and I was able to tell them about the legendary Sid. It is always a pleasure to catch up with pupils who are interested in how our democracy works and to answer their questions.
